Iconic designer, Vivienne Westwood, became involved with Liberty in 2005 when she added her name to our campaign against counter- productive anti-terrorism measures which threaten basic rights and freedoms.

She designed a ‘for Liberty’ collection, including t-shirts, a babygrow and enamelled badge. The designs reflect her commitment to liberty and justice in typically irreverent style, giving tradition a radical twist.

On one T shirt, a child-like scrawl pleas ‘I am not a terrorist please don’t arrest me’. On the other the words, ‘Liberty – throw away the key’ are crowded around a caged heart. Only 250 of each design have been produced. Priced at £50 they are at the top end of t-shirt market, but are sure to be prized by collectors.
