  • GETTING ADVICE

  • Liberty runs free specialist advice services for private individuals and voluntary sector organisations.

    Your Rights

Our dedicated information website www.yourrights.org.uk has comprehensive and up-to-date information about all aspects of human rights law in England and Wales.

    Online Query

If you do not find the information you are looking for on the site, you can submit a query via our online query form.

    Public Advice Line

If your query is urgent, or if you would like to discuss your query over the telephone, you can call our public advice line:

    0845 123 2307 or 0203 145 0461

    Monday and Thursday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
    Wednesday 12.30pm - 2.30pm

    Voluntary Sector Organisation Advice Line

If you work for an advice giving organisation and you have a query regarding a client of yours who may have a human rights issue, you can call our Voluntary Sector Organisation Advice Line:

    Call 0845 122 8621

    Monday 2.30pm - 4.30pm
    Tuesday and Thursday 10.00am - 12.00pm

PLEASE NOTE that we do not have the facility to receive visitors at our offices and our office staff don't have the legal training necessary to give advice.

    Please Be Patient

Our advice services are largely staffed by volunteers, and each year we receive thousands of queries.

We regret that we are only able to advise on matters arising in England and Wales.
