Five actions for the festive season

21 December 2011
Author: Sabina Frediani, Campaigns Co-Ordinator
2011 will go down in history as the year pro-democracy rebellions erupted across the Middle East. The hunger for basic rights and freedoms across the world should remind us all of the ever present need to protect and defend rights at home.

Your ongoing support will become increasingly crucial over the coming months as Liberty continues to combat misinformation and promote better understanding of the importance of human rights for everyone in the UK. So before we head off for the holidays, we are calling on all human rights defenders to take action! Just in case you want to do more than put your feet up over the festive season, here are a few ideas to inspire you…

Last minute Christmas cards

Why not send the Liberty festive e-card to friends and colleagues? It only takes a minute and costs nothing. Plus, you’ll be sharing an important message about protecting human rights at home as well as celebrating them abroad.
